As someone who has not one, but two soldering certifications, this is totally bupkis. You need four hands. One to hold the board, one to hold the part, one to hold the iron, and the last to apply the solder.

Back in the 1980s we had board vises and masking tape. I could stuff a whole board, tape everything down, throw it in a vise, and then solder everything. Of course, it was all through-hole back then.
